  My friend and i set out on journey from Helston to Colchester on 14/07/16. The coach was 1/2 hr late and we were among the first passengers . The coach had not been cleaned and the floor, lap trays and toilets were filthy. We changed coach at Heathrow and our connecting coach was spotless. I left feedback and hoped things would be better on our return trip. NOT SO. Our coach from Colchester was clean but again 1/2hr late. We proceeded on with our journey to the M25. The traffic was slow moving so the driver turned off the motorway and promptly got lost. We finally reached Heathrow 1hr and20 mins late and had missed our connection. We were told to go to ticket desk and the staff would put us on next available coach. The next two coaches were fully booked and the earliest one was at 5pm. There was 5 passengers that through the inadequacies of National Express were made to wait 5hrs in a hot and uncomfortable bus station. 3 passengers were aged 70 and 80yrs old.We finally reached Helston just after midnight. We were given50% of our ticket price back but this experience has put me off traveling on long journeys with National Express.
